STUDENT ORGANIZATION / CAMPUS DEPARTMENT RESERVATIONS

The University Center offers several spaces for meetings and events. Please determine which space is best for your organization and make a reservation. Prior to placing a reservation with the University Center, you are required to read the rental contract listed below:

Virtual Calendar and Reservation Requests
For your convenience, we offer a virtual calendar by which you can check University Center room availability and request reservations. In order to submit a request through the virtual calendar, you will need a virtualems username and password. For those representing Webster University campus departments and student organizations, you can request a personal login by e-mailing ucreserve@webster.edu with your name, email address, phone number, and student organization/campus department. Once you are using the virtual calendar for your reservation requests, you have the ability to request changes to times, resources, set-ups or cancellations by logging in with your unique name and password. Online Request Form
In the past, University Center reservation requests were accepted through an online form.  If you prefer not to set up a Virtual EMS account and would like to use this form instead, this form is available here: Student Organization and Campus Department Reservation Request Form.


EXTERNAL GROUP / PRIVATE RENTALS

The University Center offers flexible and convenient spaces for various types of meetings and events. Prior to placing a reservation with the University Center, you are required to read the private groups or organizations rental contract listed below:

External Group / Private Rentals Contract

Rental Rates:

  • Sunnen Lounge (capacity* 120): $80.00/hr
  • Presentation Room (capacity* 40): $40.00/hr
  • Conference Room (capacity 18): $40.00/hr
  • Grant Gymnasium (capacity* 800-1500): $150.00/hr
  • Pool: $75.00/hr plus lifeguards
  • Commons: $60.00/hr**
  • Vendor Information Table in UC Commons: $100/day 
  • Athletics Lobby: $60.00/hr**

*Capacity is based on room setups that do not include the use of tables.
**These areas rent for a $75.00 flat rate when rented in conjunction with Sunnen Lounge or Grant Gym.

There is a 50% discount off of the hourly rate for current students, faculty, and staff who wish to have a private rental.

Audio Visual equipment (laptop, data projector, microphone, etc.) is available for rental at a nominal fee. Contact the Information Center at (314) 246-7105 for details.

Room Availability:

You have three options by which you can determine if a room is available on your preferred date and time:

  • We offer a virtual calendar by which you can check University Center room availability.  You will not be able to submit a request on this site as that is limited to Webster University student organizations and campus departments, but you will be able to view the calendar for your preferred dates.
  • You can call the University Center Information Desk at 314-246-7105 and speak with the Student Building Manager about available dates and times.
  • You can email your full contact information and event details to ucreserve@webster.edu to determine available dates and times and to request a reservation.

Details The 96' x 120' gymnasium has six regulation height basketball hoops and can be set up for two volleyball or two basketball courts. Bleacher use is available as well as seats on the floor. Furniture is not available from the University for rentals.
