    Minor in Art

A minor requires a minimum of 21 credit hours of formal coursework in art from the University curriculum completed at Webster University. Courses used to fulfill a major may not also be used to fulfill a requirement for a minor.

A minor in art can be earned with either a majority of course work in studio art or majority in art history. The preponderance of courses will differentiate the minor:

    • An art minor focusing on studio courses should include a minimum of 18 credit hours of studio art and 3 credit hours of art history.
    • An art minor emphasizing art history should include a minimum of 18 credit hours of art history and 3 credit hours of art studio.
