The U.S. News & World Report's annual study on "America's Best Colleges 2007" is now out! Webster University again has been ranked as a "TOP SCHOOL" and has advanced in its Top Tier rankings. Webster University has also been highlighted for several distinctions. The following web sites identify these ratings and distinctions:
a.) Webster University has been evaluated as a
"Top
Tier"
University in the 2007 "America's Best Colleges" by US News and World
Reports (Midwest Region, Comprehensive Masters Universities):
b.) Webster University is classified as a
"Universities
- Master's (Midwest): Top Schools"
in the ranking. This category of institution provides a full range of
undergraduate and master's programs. The 557 universities in this category
are ranked within four geographic areas-North, South, Midwest, and
West-because, in general, they tend to draw students heavily from
surrounding states. Like all U.S. News categories, the regional groupings
are derived from the classification framework established by the Carnegie
Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching in 2000. There are four ranking
tiers for all of the institutions in our category. Webster University was
ranked in the top
tier, at NUMBER #23.
c.) Webster University has been cited for
distinction in "Academic
Programs—Programs to Look For."
This is a selective list of "schools with
outstanding examples of academic programs
that are believed to lead to student success": http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/brief/acadprogs06_brief.php
