The Walker EDGE: Global Internships

Global internships developed by the Walker EDGE in the Walker School of Business and Technology at Webster University challenge aspiring young professionals to apply their academic training to the international workplace. Global internships have a transformative impact on the intern's professional and personal development as well as on host organizations and communities.

 

Webster University Students Studying in the U.S.

  • Internships are full-time for 8-12 weeks in the summer and are offered in Austria, China, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.  
  • Candidates must be studying in the U.S. at Webster University. 
  • The application deadline for candidates is December 1, 2014.

Webster University Students & Walker EDGE International Partner Institution Students Studying Outside of the U.S. 

  • Internships are full-time for 8-12 weeks in the summer in St. Louis, Missouri.
  • Candidates must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at a Webster international campus or at an active Walker EDGE international partner institution (Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, ITESM and Universidad Panamericana)
  • The application deadline for global candidates is December 1, 2014.

Internship Fields 

Internship fields include the areas of business, communications, marketing, finance, information technology, computer science and business operations.
