In the same way a portfolio can encapsulate the 'body of work' of an artist or designer, creating a co-curricular transcript that represented 'body of work' of a student leader's campus involvement was part of the original vision of Webster University's Student Leadership Development Program. An official document that would accompany a student's academic transcript was seen as a way a student leader could formally show an employer or graduate program, "there's much more to me than my degree."
