NOTE 2: WHO'S WHO IN THE SIX GENERATIONS AND START UP PAGES

Folks,

I keep records in two places on my computer. All the technical data is kept on a program called FAMILY TREE MAKER. It is an excellent geneological/family history data base program. However, YOU can't view that data on your computer. Were you to have the program FAMILY TREE MAKER I could e-mail you the Corbett data base file, but otherwise you can't see it.

So, I have been making my own version of this on my own web page. There are two limitations to this:

  1. It just takes a huge amount of time to create each person's pages (personal page, family page) and make changes etc.
  2. Since I have a massive web page, literally thousands of pages on my Haiti, Dogtown, Philosophy, Travel, Family, Book Reviews pages and others, I have some limits of just how much space I can use on Webster University's computer. This limits me especially in how many photos I can load up since they eat lots of data space.

But, I'll do the best I can to keep up and catch up, and to put at least one family photo for each family and one individual photo for each individual, but you will have to e-mail me the digital copies of those photos.

To begin with I took my existing family history page (mainly about my own family) and created a new FIRST page in which I list just who of us are in the first FOUR generations that I will be dealing with.

No one is alive from the first three generations. There are 23 of us in the fourth generation, most alive.

I do not even know all of you in the fifth generation (my generations children) and there are even sixth and seventh generation folks too. None in an eighth generation that I know of.

So, please have a look at the start page

Family history first page

and I would urge you all to have a look at the story of Jeremiah Sheehan Corbett. While there are four people in generation 1, he is the only one I know much about, and I have written a story about him. I hope to eventually have stories like that for nearly everyone, but that could take years.

Jeremiah's page is at:

I still need many many e-mail addresses. Surely almost everyone in Generation 5 has an e-mail address. Please help me get everyone on e-mail.

Thanks,

Bob Corbett
