Shipping is $3.00 for the first book and $.50 for each additional book, book rate. There will also be a 75 cent charge for each mailing for delivery confirmation. Insurance or priority shipping are extra, please ask. Delivery outside the U.S. will be arranged. A number of the art cooks are quite heavy and can't be shipped for the $3.00 normal fee. If books are heavy I will have to charge extra shipping.

  • Anon (1934).    PORT-AU-PRINCE ET AUTRES VILLES D'HAITI   . Port-au-Prince, Imprimerie De L'Etat. 109 numbered pages of photographs of Port-au-Prince and various people. Included President Stenio Vincent, lots of pretty young Haitian women from society, and many photos of scenes in P-a-P. Then in both front and back are many pages of ads for various businesses on un-numbered pages. Paper cover in this large and fat 8x11 book. The book itself is worn but in good condition. There are a few very large fold out photos of maps of the city. Quite scarce item.

Very large book, 8x14 with drawings of every president and some text about that person's rule. Even minor people who were only president for a few days are included. 23 pages of introduction, 60 pages on the presidents, and unnumbered pages with drawings of the various National Palaces. Book is line new and quite impressive undertaking.

This is a GIGANTIC book, one of the largest and heaviest in the entire collection. 8x10.5 inches. Very fine condition, soft cover. Filled with statistical data, and many charts so large they are fold-out charts. I do have to ask $8.00 for postage on this item.

  • LaPorte, A. M. T. e. (1978).    PIERRE TOUSSAINT: L'HOMME PAISIBLE 1766-1853   . Port-au-Prince, Impression Magiques. 32 page biography of the ex-slave who has been elevated to the status of "blessed" by the Vatican. This is the preliminary status on the way to sainthood, the first Haitian to be so elevated. Book is paper bound and in good condtion.
