Just beyond the Buchtel statue, there is a commemoration in one of the concrete walkway squares to one of the campus organizations, Omicron Delta Kappa, and their Oak Society, who planted the oak trees we meet under. |

| Behind the fountain is Bierce Circle, the place that is the beginning of the Sunday morning memorial service procession to the cemetary where Anne and Dr. Bob are interred. That miles-long motorcade is always led by several hundred motorcycles, and is one of the most emotionally moving experiences of the Founders' Day weekend celebrations. | |
