Comments: The 104mm fully embroidered R1 patch was designed to commemorate the Bicentennial year. It is a very impressive design. The background is primarily gold with a long house outlined in black in the center. Across the front of the long house is the Tuscarora shirt with a red arrow through the sleeves. Along the top of the patch is 'GANASOTE' (misspelled) and 'TUSCARORA' stitched in black and "WWW" stitched in red. 159, 1776, and 1976 are also stitched in red. The bottom of the flap has components of an American flag (with 13 white stars). 'HO-DE-NO-SAU-NEE' and 'BICENTENNIAL' are stitched in blue.
