| Comments:
Prior to the S10, the only flap which was consistently worn on uniforms
were the S2 varieties. Issues S3 through S9 were all commemorative
flaps representing anniversaries or NOAC participation. The S10 was
released in 1994. The goal of the patch design was to incorporate the
purple mountains and longhouse of the S2 with a Niagara Falls scene.
This multi-colored background also contained
a brown buffalo. Black stitching was used in both the rolled-edge
border
and 'HO-DE-NO-SAU-NEE.' Red stitching was used in the fdl, WWW and 159.
