Comments: The FIRST Flap from Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee is a fully embroidered flap that has a black rolled-edge border and a multicolored background. The Iroquois Longhouse is centered, with a red arrow across the top of it. The red lodge number 159 is centered in the middle of the arrow. The lodge name was stitched in dark green and is centered at the bottom of the longhouse. WWW was stitched in large red letters across the bottom of the flap. The cloth back of the S1a contains cream (MAN) stitching. The S1a contains dark purple mountains whereas the S1b contains purple mountains. This design was in use for many years. The trees of the S1a are also a bit thinner than those in the S1b.
