The S2e is a new variety which is not yet in the Blue Book. The design
is
identical to the S2a with the exception of the backing. The S2e has a
cloth
back. The correct chronological ordering of the S2 varieties does not correspond to the a,b,c,d,e designations in the Blue Book (they were assigned letters based on discovery). The correct chronological order is S2e, S2a, S2b, S2d, and S2c. |
