Although e-mail is generally reliable,
it is possible for it to get lost in transit due to circumstances beyond
your control and mine.
Messages you send are
typically saved in the SENT folder of your e-mail program. If you need to
retransmit a homework assignment, find it in your SENT folder and then
FORWARD
a copy of it to me. That way I will be able to verify the date and time of
your original submission and you will not be penalized for an "e-mail
system" failure. If you do not FORWARD the original message, your
assignment will assumed to be "late" and points will be
deducted.
An alternative method
that you can use simply involves sending a copy of your assignment to your
personal e-mail account at home. Once you have verified that I have received and
recorded your assignment, you can delete it from your PC. If you
need to resubmit it, all you need to do is FORWARD your original message
to me. Do not send it as an attachment. I will not open attachments
