| Discovering Computers 2011:
Living In
The Digital World (Complete
version) Gary B. Shelly, Misty E. Vermaat, Thomas J. Cashman
|
Make sure that you only buy the
COMPLETE edition. There are other abbreviated versions of the same text.
However, some of the chapters are missing. So you will have difficulty
studying for the tests if you buy the wrong edition. When you receive
the text, make sure that you verify the edition before you open the
shrink wrap. Some students have had the wrong version accidentally sent
to them. So please check this out to avoid unnecessary problems.

There are minor differences between the
2010 and 2011 versions. If you are willing to deal with these potential
differences, you can find new and used copies of the
text from the following sources:
The 2010 edition:
amazon.com
Half.com
Pricemonk.com (This page may delay displaying data for
several seconds. So be patient).

SPECIAL NOTE:
Webster's book list includes The
World's Easiest Guide to APA or the ITM 5000 course. Webster
automatically adds this text to all of its "5000-level"
courses at Scott. They want all of your term papers in the graduate
program to conform with the standards described in this manual.
However, I do not require you to write any
term papers in this course that require you to use this format. So you have the option to either buy the
text now so that you will have it available for other courses or you can
defer the purchase to another semester. The choice is yours. |
