In this activity 
you
will learn about various Chinese achievements from the Tang and Song dynasties.
Working online, you will examine 15 images of Chinese achievements, such
as movable-type printing, gunpowder, porcelain, and mechanical clocks.
For each image, you will match the image of the achievement with the corresponding
written description of the achievement. After reading the description,
you will designs a visual symbol for the achievement, copy the corresponding
Chinese character provided in the classroom, and write a summary sentence
of it on a scroll. At the end of the activity, you will stand on a spectrum
to represent the impact of each achievement on their community today and
defend your choice.
