Set mail and news preferences on lab
computer.

Open your bookmark file from your disk.

Go to Hot Mail.

Explore the options in your e-mail account.

Establish an e-mail identity -preferences,
signature, etc.

Learn about replying to and forwarding
mail.

Set up folders in e-mail for messages

Explore the internet.

Reset mail and news preferences on lab
computer before shutting down.
Assignments: Before
the next class session** you
need to:

Send an e-mail message to your instructor
which should include:

any questions you have,

the topic in nursing or health about
which you want to do extensive research, and

your choice for "link of the week" (make
sure it is different from others listed and that it is related to nursing
or health--not necessarily on your chosen topic)

Communicate individually with others
in your class via e-mail and send a group message.

Explore the internet and add to your
bookmarks if you have the opportunity.

later than midnight, Saturday preceding class.
