The major activity of this course will involve exploration of the internet on a topic of the student's choice related to health and nursing. All students will engage in similar activities, however different work products are expected depending on the number of credit hours taken.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

For two credit hours: 

• Communicate with instructor and classmates via e-mail.
• Present findings from Web searches of various sites on topics related to health and nursing.
• Organize and submit bookmark lists on directed and self-selected topics.
• Submit a reference list of Web sources on a selected topic.
• Complete weekly assignments.

• Develop and post a Web site, with links and images, pertaining to a self-selected topic in nursing.
