Webster University students in St. Louis, Missouri have the chance to design their own unique undergraduate degree, combining coursework from several departments and academic subject areas. Drawing from a diverse array of academic programs, the student writes a complete proposal combining various areas of interest. The proposal is then reviewed and approved by the faculty committee. A self-designed interdisciplinary major fulfills the requirement for in-depth study just as a traditional major does.
