HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

Pre-Arrival Symptom Monitoring
Visitors must complete self-monitoring before arriving on site at their designated
campus location, including a temperature check. You must be free of ANY symptom potentially
related to COVID-19. Currently the CDC indicates that the include one or more of the
following:
• Fever (above 100.4) or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
• Known exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
If you, or anyone who may accompany you on this visit have any of the above symptoms,
you are required to reschedule your visit to campus.
INITIAL CHECK–IN
All visitors must check-in at the Public Safety Office (572 Garden Ave.) upon arrival.
All visitors will receive a health screening inclusive of an on-site temperature check
at that time. Visitors must receive a badge from public safety before proceeding to
the Webster Hall visitors parking lot. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have
a fever of over 100 degrees you will be required to reschedule your visit to campus.
SECONDARY CHECK-IN
Upon completion of Public Safety visit and clearance approval, visitors will proceed
to Webster Hall visitors parking. You will find your name listed on your parking spot
in front of the building (470 E Lockwood Ave.). On your parking plaque you will find
the phone number of the Welcome Center. Upon arrival please call and inform them that
you are here for your campus visit. Once you have checked in via phone, you will be
directed into the building and greeted at the door by a Gorlok Guide. Upon entry to
the building, you will be asked to show your clearance approval and will have your
temperature checked again.
MASKS
All visitors are required to wear masks on campus for the entirety of their time on
campus (indoors & outdoors). Please bring a mask with you. If you do not have access
to a mask, one will be provided for you upon check-in. Masks must always be properly
worn covering your nose and mouth, there is no exception to this rule. If you are
unable to wear a mask you should reschedule your visit until such a time you are physically
able to wear a mask. Face coverings that are not an acceptable replacement for face
masks are bandanas, face shields and neck gaiter masks.
PHYSICAL DISTANCING
Everyone must keep a minimum of 6 feet between themselves and others while on campus.
Additionally, Webster will restrict access while on campus to designated areas.
HANDWASHING
Everyone must wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before
meeting with Webster personnel. If soap and water are not available, use on of the
hand sanitizer dispensers on campus.
ACCESS TO CAMPUS BUILDINGS
Access to our campus buildings is limited for the safety, health and well-being of
our students and staff. Please retain your campus contact information provided in
your scheduling email to ensure you can gain proper access when you arrive.
POST-VISIT FOLLOW UP
If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 48 hours of your visit to campus, you must
notify Webster University Health Services immediately by calling (314)-246-4207 and
emailing Campus Visits at campusvisit@webster.edu.
VISIT ALLOTTMENT
The number of visitors in a group is limited so we can follow proper social distancing
guidelines and reduce the density of guests on campus at any one time. Prospective
students can bring only one (1) additional guest with them to the campus tour.
TOUR SCHEDULING
All campus tours must be pre-arranged at least 48 hours in advance. No walk-in appointments
will be allowed at this time.
