That's why enrolling in Webster, an independent non-profit University is easy. We maintain a rolling admissions policy, meaning you can apply four times each year when it's most convenient for you.

Bachelor's Admissions Process

To apply to Webster University Georgia for a bachelor's degree, you will need to:

  • Document of school completion: general education diploma(Attestat)/high school diploma.
  • Demonstrate a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.
  • Pass the Unified National Exam.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency at a level equal to or higher than IELTS 6.0.

Each applicant needs to demonstrate their ability to commit to the Webster program, which will be taught in English. However, for the purpose of maintaining diversity, Webster University Georgia accepts some students with lower English scores, equivalent to IELTS scores between 5.5 and 5.9. Applicants who do not meet our English requirements may be conditionally accepted as English as a Second Language (ESL) students.

ESL courses are taken during the first two semesters. The classes are taken at the same time as other subjects related to the student's major and are counted toward their degrees in the form of electives.

In order to apply for the Webster University Georgia programs starting in Fall (October), the candidate must register for the Unified National Exam for the undergraduate program with the corresponding code:

And upon passing the Unified National Exam, the entrant is eligible for enrollment in Webster University Georgia on the basis of ranking document. The Students who selected Webster University via the Unified National Examinations must submit applications no later than September 15, at the webster.edu admission portal.

Document of School Completion

Each applicant must submit a document certifying they have completed high school, such as an general education diploma or high school diploma. Applicants considered for admission to undergraduate studies at Webster University must complete their high school education in an accredited educational institution recognized by Webster University, and meet all program admission standards. Applicants must have a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent for full admission.

Transcript

Original or notarized copy of school certificate (or relevant certificate from an education institution). If the person has received a document certifying general education abroad, a document certifying the recognition of education obtained abroad issued by National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement LEPL must be submitted.

Proof of English Language Proficiency

We accept scores from several English proficiency tests, including the following:

  • IELTS: 6.0 minimum score
  • TOEFL iBT: 80 minimum score
  • Duolingo: 110 minimum score
  • SAT's English-based Reading and Writing: 450 minimum score
  • ACT composite score: 23 minimum score

Or you have to pass the English exam held by Webster University Georgia.

Passport

To complete your admissions file, we will also require a scanned file of your passport or any identification document.

In case of a minor, the person's birth certificate and the identity document of the parent/guardian signing the contract are uploaded (in case of a birth certificate issued by a foreign country — a notarized translation).

Proof of Military Registration

For male Georgian citizens subject to military registration.

Document Languages

All documents must be in English or in both English and Georgian. If these documents are not originally in English, please get a notarized translation and submit the scanned version of the original and translation.

Submit application

Once we receive your application and documents through the online system, it typically takes five business days to review your candidacy and send you a decision by email.

Once an applicant is admitted, they are required to sign the contract with Webster University and make a payment for the first academic semester.

Note: In cases allowed by law, when the application and the contract are signed by the legal representative of the person wishing to study, the following must also be uploaded: a copy of the legal representative's identity document (ID card), guardianship, etc. and notarized copy of the certification document.

The fee of $7,900 U.S. confirms intent to enroll at the University. Enrollment in classes will be completed only after the student's tuition fee is received. Students are encouraged to pay half of the tuition fee as soon as possible, to guarantee their ability to study in their desired semester. The second half of the tuition may be paid by the end of the first week of the second semester.

Webster Georgia has four intakes a year for international undergraduate applicants

If you are still in school, you may submit a transcript of your grades from your 10th and 11th years of studies. You will receive a provisional admission decision. After we receive your final transcript, we will update your admissions decision from provisional to full.

Proof of English Language Proficiency

Master's Admission Process

To apply to Webster University Georgia for a master's degree, you will need to:

  • Document undergraduate degree completion: bachelor's degree diploma/transcript.
  • Demonstrate a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.
  • Pass the Unified Master's Exam.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency at a level equal to or higher than IELTS 6.0.

In order to apply for the Webster University Georgia programs starting in Fall 2023 — October 16, the candidate must register for the Unified Master's Exam for the graduate program.

The prospective student is eligible for enrollment in Webster University Georgia based on the ranking document. In addition, to the ranking document students need to submit applications no later than September 15, 2023, at the webster.edu admission portal.

Document of University Completion

Each applicant must submit a document certifying they have completed college/university, such as a transcript, bachelor’s diploma, or equivalent. Applicants considered for admission to graduate studies at Webster University must complete their undergraduate education in an accredited educational institution recognized by Webster University, and meet all program admission standards. Webster University Georgia is accepting applications until July 24, 2023 (deadline for students who need a visa to reside in Georgia is July 31, 2023).

Graduate programs start in Fall I 2023 — August 14.

Tuition Fees and Policies

Our Undergraduate Tuition Fees and Policies

The annual tuition fee for the Academic Year of 2024–2025 is a flat fee of $7,900 for Citizens of Georgia and $8,900 for all International Students. The fee can be paid in halves at the beginning of each semester. Payment is made in Georgian Lari based on the National Bank of Georgia rate. All international students need to pay $170 application fee.

Should you decide to drop or withdraw from the University, it is your responsibility to inform the Office of the Registrar and file the drop or withdrawal form by the deadline. The student tuition refund rates are based on the date that a student drops or withdraws from a course per University enrollment policies and when the refund is approved.
