Program Description

The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) minor provides undergraduate students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in the science of behavior. Designed to align with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) coursework requirements for Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification, this fully online 18-credit minor prepares students to apply evidence-based behavioral principles in a wide range of professional settings.

Students gain competency in behavior assessment, intervention, data-based decision making, ethics, and supervision practices central to the ABA profession. This minor supports growing national workforce needs in education, behavioral health, human services, organizational performance, and allied healthcare settings. Coursework in the minor also creates a seamless academic pathway into Webster University’s graduate programs in Applied Behavior Analysis.

The ABA minor is well-suited for students pursuing careers in psychology, education, social work, health sciences, criminal justice, and related fields. All courses are delivered fully online, offering flexibility for working professionals, paraprofessionals, and students nationwide.
