This program is offered by the School of Communications/Media Arts Department. It is available at the St. Louis main campus and at Webster University Tashkent.

Students may have a major and a minor within the same department in the School of Communications; they may not major and minor within the same subject matter area.

Program Description

The Minor in Film, Television, and Video Production provides essential knowledge and skills for media production, encompassing both technical aspects and a deep exploration of the industry's cultural and historical dimensions. Students gain comprehensive insights into the intricacies of cinema, television, and video production.

Required Courses

  • FLST 1000 Film and Television Appreciation (3 hours)
  • FTVP 1000 Introduction to Film, Television, and Video Production (3 hours)
  • 12 hours of additional FTVP courses
