Pursue Justice Through Interdisciplinary Study
The Interdisciplinary Studies major with an emphasis in Gender, Race and Sexuality prepares students to examine and address group-based forms of discrimination, exploitation and violence through an intersectional lens. Drawing on courses from across the humanities and social sciences, this emphasis develops the analytical, critical thinking and advocacy skills students need to pursue careers dedicated to solving vital social issues.

At 36 credit hours, the program combines three core interdisciplinary courses with 27 hours of emphasis coursework under the GRAS (Gender, Race and Sexuality) prefix.
