If a student has a concern or is facing a situation that may need additional assistance, this webpage will help direct you to relevant policies, current procedures and available resources to provide support, seek assistance or submit a complaint.

Academic Experience
Students with questions, concerns or complaints about their academic experience at Webster University are encouraged to reach out to their college's or school's dean's office or to the main office of their campus location (if you are not taking classes in St. Louis or online).

Academic Support
- The Reeg Academic Resource Center offers students resources and support for academic success.
- The Academic Advising Center coordinates advising throughout the Webster University network and can provide information and tools to understand academic programs and policies that help students fully realize their academic and professional goals.

Technology
- Students who need assistance with technology may contact Information Technology.
- Discover more information on setting up Webster accounts (email, Connections ID, etc.).
- Support with technology is available by emailing support@webster.edu or calling 314-246-5995 (or 5995 from a campus phone).
- Webster University’s Emerson Library can also provide support on technology that is related to research and access to library materials, including a 24/7 chat.
- For concerns related to information security and privacy, Webster University’s Office of Privacy provides an incident reporting form.
Interpersonal Concerns and Safety
- Emergencies should be reported to the police by calling 911 (6911 from a campus phone).
- Non-emergency situations can be reported on the Public Safety webpage or by calling 314-968-7430.
- Contact the Counseling and Life Development Staff for information on mental health and wellness services.
- Webster University is committed to maintaining a safe learning and working environment
that provides the campus community with the appropriate process for reporting and
redressing individual reports of sexual harassment
- Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 is a federal law that states: “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance”

Webster University has accreditation or authorization from the organizations listed below.
Information for Submitting Complaints:
- Webster University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) since 1925.
- HLC has a complaint process, which is available to students, faculty, staff and members of the public.
- Students studying at U.S. campuses may also have options to file a complaint with a relevant state governing board or agency.
- Complaint resolution policies are available from Missouri’s Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development.
