Our students learn in modern labs and classrooms with the latest technology.

Browning Hall: Our interdisciplinary science building has advanced labs for chemistry, biology and physics. Students have access to instruments like NMR, FTIR and UV-VIS spectrometers, as well as computational chemistry programs like Gaussian 16.

Electronic Resources: You'll have access to a wide range of academic journals and databases to support your research.

Why Choose Webster: Career Success and Accreditation
We're committed to preparing students for successful careers. Our programs are recognized by top accrediting bodies, ensuring you receive a high-quality education.
- Biological Science (BS) Program: Accredited by the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).
- Counseling Programs: The MA in Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is accredited at our campuses in St. Louis (Webster Groves), Missouri, and Columbia, South Carolina by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Our Webster University Online program is also CACREP accredited in select states. The Professional Counseling Department is an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) by the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC).
- Nurse Anesthesia (DNAP) Programs: Accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
- Nursing Programs: Our bachelor's and master's nursing programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Webster University also holds membership in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).
We're committed to preparing students for successful careers. The following data highlights the outcomes for graduates in our Nurse Anesthesia, Counseling and Nursing programs.
Nurse Anesthesia
Our Nurse Anesthesia program demonstrates strong outcomes in pass rates, employment and attrition.
- Pass Rates: The overall pass rate for the CRNA exam has consistently been high, reaching 100% for cohorts from 2016 through 2023. The first-time pass rate for the 2025 cohort was 92%.
- Employment: For all cohorts from 2016 to 2023, the employment rate within six months of graduation was 100% or higher. The 2024 cohort had a 96% employment rate.
- Attrition: The program maintains a very low attrition rate, with five cohorts between 2016 and 2024 having a 0% attrition rate. The highest attrition rate in this period was 6% for the 2017 cohort.
Counseling
We're proud of our outcomes for graduates of the MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Our students are well-prepared for their careers, as shown by strong pass rates on the National Counselor Examination (NCE).
- St. Louis Campus Outcomes
- Completion Rate: 48% of students in the 2020-2021 cohort graduated within 2.5 years of starting the program.
- NCE Pass Rate: The pass rate on the NCE was 88% in 2023.
- Job Placement Rate: The job placement rate for recent graduates was 55.6%.
- South Carolina Campuses (Charleston, Columbia, Myrtle Beach) and Online Outcomes
- Completion Rate: The three-year graduation rate for the 2020-2021 cohort varied by campus, with Myrtle Beach at 54%, Charleston at 50%, Columbia at 31%, and Online students at 29%.
- NCE Pass Rate: The overall NCE pass rate was 88% in 2023.
- Job Placement Rate: The job placement rate for graduates was 80%.
Nursing
- RN to BSN Completion Rate
- 2022-2023: The aggregate on-time completion rate was 43%, with an eventual completion rate of 76%.
- 2023-2024: The aggregate on-time completion rate was 52%, with an eventual completion rate of 65%.
- MSN Completion Rate
- 2022-2023: The aggregate on-time completion rate was 84.7%.
- 2023-2024: The aggregate on-time completion rate was 77.61%.
Completion rates measure the percentage of students who complete their program within the expected number of terms.
