Spring 2025 registration will open early this year.
September: Start planning!
- Review your Degree Audit.
- Plan with the Class Schedule Search for Spring 2025.
- Meet with your Academic Advisor for Spring 2025 to finalize your schedule.
- Confirm your Financial Aid (by Oct. 11).
- Pay your Fall 2024 tuition balance (under $1,500).
- Resolve any other holds.
October: Get registered!
- Spring Registration opens:
- Monday, Sept. 30 – Webster Groves Seniors
- Tuesday, Oct. 1 – Webster Groves Juniors
- Wednesday, Oct. 2 – All Undergraduates
- Monday, Oct. 7 – Graduate Students
- Friday, Oct. 25 - System pause begins at 5 p.m. CST.
Oct. 25-Nov. 18, 2024: Pause.
- Student Academic Services retires. No registration activity. Submit Fall 1 and/or Fall 2 class withdrawal requests via online form.
- Payments can be made during this time, but payments will not be reflected on your student account.
- Continue to attend classes.
Nov. 18, 2024: We’re live!
- Registration resumes.
- Payments made during the Pause will be processed.
- Withdrawal requests made during the Pause will be processed.
- Finish the semester strong!
WebsterOne Launch Schedule
This semester, Webster will have a three-week system pause as the IT department integrates WebsterOne, a new platform to bring all university technological systems together into one comprehensive portal. Because of this, some deadlines will be earlier than in previous years to account for downtime.
Important Dates:
Sept. 9, 2024:
- Business Office registration holds for students with outstanding balances over $1,500 will be posted (for Spring 2025 registration).
Sept. 25, 2024:
- Spring 2025 class registration opens for all graduate students at international campuses.
Sept. 30, 2024:
- Spring 2025 class registration opens for Webster Groves seniors.
Oct. 1, 2024:
- Spring 2025 class registration opens for Webster Groves juniors.
- FAFSA processing deadline for Fall 2024 semester.
- This is the last day to guarantee the receipt of a financial aid offer for Fall in time to have funds credit before the pause. For those who haven’t yet completed the FAFSA, it may be completed at studentaid.gov, using Webster’s school code, 002521. Once a FAFSA has been successfully completed, Webster’s Financial Aid office typically receives it 3-5 business days later. Please plan to submit FAFSA at LEAST one week in advance of Oct. 1.
- Deadline for Parent PLUS loan.
- Parents who wish to borrow the Parent PLUS loan on their student’s behalf must submit their application and complete all requirements for the loan by Oct. 1 to guarantee that the loan is disbursed before the pause. The Parent PLUS loan application and PLUS Master Promissory Note (MPN) can be completed at studentaid.gov.
Oct. 2, 2024:
- Spring 2025 class registration opens for all current undergraduates.
Oct. 7, 2024:
- Spring 2025 class registration opens for all current graduate students.
Oct. 11, 2024:
- Missing financial aid documents or outstanding aid requirements must be received by Financial Aid Office. Students may view any missing documents and outstanding requirements in the Financial Aid Portal.
Oct. 14, 2024:

Spring 2025 class registration opens for new Spring 2025 admits.
Oct. 18, 2024:
- Final date to have financial aid credit for the Fall semester prior to Pause.
Oct. 25, 2024:
- Final day to petition to graduate in December.
- *Strongly recommended that petition to graduate is submitted as early as possible in the semester.
- Fall 2 drop deadline for Oct. 21 class start date.
- Classes must be added or dropped on this day to lock in Pell Grants.
- Fall I grades will be entered in system no later than 5 p.m. CST.
- Pause period begins at 5 p.m. CST. No further actions can be completed after this time.
Nov. 18, 2024:
- WebsterOne launches.
During the System Pause
Students Should Expect the Following:
- Canvas, in-person courses and online courses will continue to operate as usual.
- Students will be able to view unofficial transcripts, class schedules, grades and degree audits in academic services.
- Students will be unable to add or drop courses.
- Students will be able to request a class withdrawal through an online form, which will be processed after the Pause.
- Financial aid will not credit to student balances.
- Refunds of financial aid cannot be processed.
