All students completing all degree requirements in May 2020 must fill out a Petition to Graduate.

Petitions are due:

  • Spring 1: January 7, 2020
  • Spring 2: March 2, 2020

Petitions will be routed to the correct staff member once form is completed and submitted.

NOTE: An e-mail confirming receipt of the petition will be sent upon submission.

Students who have completed all of their academic requirements to graduate must clear their Student Business Office account balance prior to diploma and transcript release. Credit card payments are subject to a 2.75% convenience fee. Check payments have a holding period of ten days before release of transcripts. For Extended Campus Graduates

Notify your campus director by February 18, 2020 to submit your name on the Commencement Participation Form if you intend to participate in the St. Louis Commencement ceremony.

Fully Online Graduates

*It is recommended that individuals requiring wheelchair assistance bring their own wheelchair. Please note the Muny property is accessible but, individuals must be able to negotiate an incline for seating for the main Muny stage.

St. Louis area graduates may purchase their caps and gowns at the University Bookstore, 554 Garden Avenue, Webster Groves, Missouri during the Grad Salute Days. Join in the celebration. Enter to win prizes and don't miss special graduation pricing on Jostens class rings. Take care of all your graduation needs on these days.

Ring Sale/Announcement Days on Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday March 8, 2017 from 10 am–5 pm.

Distribute copies of the MAP OF YOUR COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY to friends and family with your Commencement announcements. The map shows your check-in area, and the location of your individual School/College ceremony. These maps contain all the information you and your guests will need to navigate your way through Commencement day.

  • Graduates are expected to arrive 2 HOURS PRIOR to rehearse and prepare for the ceremony. Late arrivals will not be permitted to participate. The procession will begin promptly.
  • A location will be provided for robing and disrobing.
  • Guests are permitted to enter 1/2 hour prior to the start of the ceremony. The venue offers a beautiful veranda for your family and guests.
  • Ample parking will be available for graduates and guests and is free of charge.
  • Diplomas will not be presented to graduates at the ceremony. Graduates will receive their diplomas approximately six to eight weeks after the degrees are conferred by the main campus in St. Louis.
