Reduced Tuition for Military Students
Webster University demonstrates its support of military students achieving their educational goals. Active-duty Military, Reservists, and National Guard enrolled at Webster University are eligible for reduced tuition fees, including online courses. Additionally, tuition assistance may be provided by the military to eligible students. Federal and contract employees of the installation and dependents of active-duty military, reserve, and guard also qualify for a reduced tuition rate at on-base, in-classroom courses.
Transfer Credit Degree Programs
Webster University has the third largest selection of graduate programs serving the military. Transfer Credit master's degree programs are offered with 42 professional military and Department of Defense schools, including the prestigious Army Command and General Staff College. These transfer credit degree programs provide transfer credit for military-taught courses.
Transfer Credits Guidelines
For military students, the Office of Admissions awards transfer credit according to the guidelines discussed on Webster University’s transfer credits pages. In general, it is Webster University policy to accept credits earned from Professional Military Education (PME) institutions and those institutions fully accredited by a regional accrediting association for colleges and universities, provided that such credits have been earned through university-level courses appropriate to the student’s degree program at Webster.
Official military transcripts (joint services transcripts) must be submitted to the Office of Admissions for evaluation. Coursework recommended for academic college credit at the lower- or upper-division level by the American Council on Education (ACE) will be considered for transfer provided that the coursework is applicable to the student’s degree program. Admissions reserves the right to accept or reject credits earned at other institutions of higher education. Exceptions are considered for all military students.

Adams-Parker: I feel great. It's very exciting moment. I have always wanted to be a Gorlok. I grew up, our family couldn't afford school, so I joined the military. I was in the Marine Corps. from 2004 to 2008. I took an injury in Iraq. I was a military police officer. I decided to go back to school a couple years ago to make life better for me and my family.

Adams-Parker: It's a stepping stone to show my kids, like you can do this and like becoming a good example for them. I chose Webster because I know they're A, a good military school, and B, I grew up in the area. So, and I knew they were a good school, in general. So I did receive an educational scholarship when I applied to Webster. I also went back to school on what's called vocational rehabilitation, because I have an injury from Iraq, they wanted to find a career path that was great that would coincide with my injury.
