Your future success at Webster University starts with an application to your chosen
program. Once accepted, you will be assigned an advisor. Your entry into your program
grants you all the rights and benefits conferred to admitted students of the University.
Applying to our programs is easy, and you do not need to complete the application
in one session. We do not require an admissions essay. We do not require standardized test scores
(SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE, etc.). Information about how to apply is listed below:
Create a username and password to save progress on your application. A valid email
address is required.
Complete Your Application
The application for admission is a short online form. You will be asked to provide
your contact information, desired program and other key details.

Transcripts - In the application form, you will be asked to provide information about
previous institutions attended. You will also need to request transcripts to be sent
to us directly from those institutions (See below).
Application Fee
The application fee is $60. In some cases, fee waivers are available - Contact your

Customize your Criminal Justice degree to fit your needs. Select a graduate certificate
or our dual-degree option, the MA in National Security Studies/MS in Criminal Justice,

Webster University's cybersecurity programs prepare students and professionals to
succeed in demanding positions in both the public and private sectors, protecting
the ever-expanding, global reach of computer systems. Graduates may oversee, operate,
or protect critical computer systems, information, infrastructures, and communications
networks from cyber crime, cyber fraud, or cyber espionage.

If you are interested in several kinds of media, and you don’t want to narrow it down
to just one major, the Master of Arts in Media Communications degree is perfect for
you. It's flexible, allowing you to study multiple areas of media — from Animation
to Scriptwriting to Public Relations, and more — and create your own unique combination
of subjects. It’s the broadest, most flexible degree in Webster's School of Communications.
Public relations is a competitive and rapidly changing field. At Webster University,
you'll learn how to identify communications problems, and develop and implement real-world
solutions — in real time. Our public relations programs combine a strong foundation
of academic study with opportunities to test concepts through projects. Students will
learn to manage relationships with clients, create project budgets and develop strong
writing skills. They'll also learn theories and gain hands-on experience in creating
strategic information programs, internal communications plans, media relations and
special events as they build their professional portfolios using all available formats
of media (print, video, radio and television, and social media, digital and electronic
applications).
Graduate assistants are currently paid at $13 per hour, paid on a bi-weekly basis
per the University's payroll schedule. Graduate Assistants also receive a scholarship
equivalent to 50% of graduate tuition for nine credit hours per semester at on-ground
rate; the scholarship is non-taxable.
Must enroll in nine credit hours of graduate courses per semester.
Must maintain a good academic standing.
Must demonstrate relationship of work to academic benefit.
Emergency Assistance
Webster University is committed to helping our students through unexpected financial
hardships. Emergency aid, including loans, grants, tuition adjustments/waivers, food
assistance, and funds for textbooks and technology, is available to students enrolled
at campuses in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
