CMS offers group classes for infants through age 6 with their parents, grandparents or other caregivers building a strong foundation for lessons, school music programs, and a life-long love of music.
Ready to Start
The Suzuki Strings program is a method of musical study where very young children start learning string instruments by ear with the help of parent-teachers, weekly instruction and group classes.
Young or old, weekly one-on-one lessons with an instructor are a great way to learn a new instrument or leap forward in your proficiency on your current instrument.
Suzuki Strings Program
In the Suzuki Strings Program, young children learn to play the violin, viola or cello the same way they learn to speak — by listening, imitating and repeating sounds.

CMS offers private music lessons for all ages, levels and abilities that prepare students to express themselves musically and acquire skills necessary to participate in ensembles, perform in public and enjoy a lifelong love of music.
Take it to the Next Level
A sequential orchestra program ushers young musicians through multiple levels, enhancing students' skills beyond individual performance and supporting the education process in school music programs. Ensembles and other special group programs give students opportunities to advance their skills collaboratively in smaller groups.

Young Composers Competition
Since 2004, the Young Composers Competition has recognized and encouraged the efforts of those between the ages of 12-21 who are involved in the process of creating music.
