About the School of Communications

The School of Communications (SOC) at Webster University operates with one goal in mind — to educate and prepare its students to excel as skilled professionals in a global field of communication.

To achieve this goal, the School takes a hands-on approach to learning. You will work with professional-grade media equipment as early as your freshman year. Internships will help connect you with more than 300 employers across the nation. And if you are like most students, you will graduate with a professional portfolio in hand.

You can choose from sixteen distinct majors with different areas of emphasis at the undergraduate level, and when you're  ready for graduate studies, you may choose master's degrees in five diverse fields of communication.

You can take classes at campuses throughout the United States and around the world. If you qualify, airfare to one of our global campus locations is covered by the university.
